Palm Avenue Turn Lane Expansion

This project consisted of a roadway modification to incorporate an additional Northbound and Southbound turn lane onto Palm Avenue at Miramar Parkway. This modification required the design of roadway transitions, roadway expansions, traffic signalization modifications, sidewalk and crosswalk alterations, drainage system improvements, and utility coordination. Stormwater management analysis for water quality requirements was performed and justified by deepening swales and modifying control structures connected to the adjacent Palm Avenue Canal. The firm’s duties included full construction administration services needed to certify and closeout the project.
