Fifth & Alton

This project was a 5-story, vertical mall comprised of retail, market space, and its supporting 1,080 vehicle parking garage. SSA was the Civil Engineer and Surveyor responsible for the design, permitting, and construction administration for all the infrastructure improvement for the development of the subject site.

The duties encompass the installation of 540’ of 12” water main along Lenox Avenue from 5th Street to 6th Street as well as the stormwater management system of the site. As part of this project, the sidewalks along Alton Road and 5th Street were re-designed and re-developed. Off-site improvements included new turn lanes, additional drainage infrastructure, and grading improvements along FDOT Right of Way.
