The project consisted of the re-development of an existing school. This project is composed of a 308,000 square foot Miami-Dade County Senior High School, also known as John A. Ferguson High School.
SSA was the Civil Engineer responsible for the design, permitting and construction for all the infrastructure for the development site and adjacent roadways.
The design of the project included water mains to provide adequate fire protection and domestic water supply for the proposed development. Sewer main were also required to service the proposed development. Additionally, stormwater management modeling software (ICPR) was used to determine stages generated by a theoretical design storm events for flood analysis of the development and for adjacent roadways.
